If the case is a misdemeanor or does not require personal appearance, yes. I am happy to appear for my clients on their misdemeanor matters. As mentioned in the answer to #4, if the case goes to trial, you will almost certainly want to be present.
In some misdemeanor cases, the judge may require your presence at plea or sentencing, but in most cases, I can even appear for you to hand in your plea and accept your sentence.
